Tik Tok to launch new features like device management and revamped notification tabs

New Delhi: Tik Tok said it was launching the second in app quiz in India to provide account safety tips to users, a week after the Madras High Court lifted a stay on its downloads and it became available again on Google Play and Apple's app store. Tik Tok said its first TikTok quiz on online safety was taken by almost 5 million users and that its users are also coming together to show their support and further enhance awareness around online safety and safety in general.Tik Tok said its account safety quiz which is available on TikTok in India and throughout Europe，EMEA, and Asia incorporates questions on general account safety including setting up your account with a strong password, not sharing your account information with anyone, and being aware of phishing, suspicious emails or websites. The company said in addition to educational efforts, it is launching new tools and initiatives to support the creation of a positive and safe in-app environment and that its new features include device management, which will allow users to manage their login devices to prevent their accounts from being hacked, and revamped notification tabs and notification controls, which will make 'users’ digital lives easier.'TikTok is available in 150 global markets including via the App Store or Google Play stores.
