It has hiked its mid-cap presence sharply since the recategorisation in 2018, when it had a large-cap tilt. This mid-cap exposure is mostly built in the mid-section of the portfolio, with large caps dominating the top bets. The fund manager prefers companies that have the ability to generate consistent cash flows, have a proven, scalable business model with efficient management and available at reasonable price. It has pared back exposure to financials in recent years. The fund continues to maintain consistency in outperformance despite changes in its focus. The proven credentials of its long serving fund manager provide additional comfort.Source: Value Research
