Even the large-caps are mostly erstwhile mid-caps that have grown bigger. While the fund portfolio is well diversified, it features healthy positions in top bets. The fund manager prefers businesses that offer scaling in size with multi-year compounding opportunity. She is comfortable taking sizeable positions in conviction bets. The fund performance was underwhelming prior to 2020 as it started betting on economic recovery early. The fund made a strong comeback in 2020 and the momentum continues.
