IIM-B jumps in Bloomberg MBA rankings

Stanford Graduate School of Business has retained the top position in Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2026–27 ranking of US business schools, while IIM Bangalore’s Executive Post Graduate Programme climbed to second place in the Asia-Pacific region.Stanford has now ranked No. 1 in the US for eight consecutive years. The programme recorded gains in learning, networking and entrepreneurship, while ranking second in the region for compensation.The ranking is significant for India as IIM Bangalore moved ahead of several established business schools in the Asia-Pacific region. It removed the separate inclusion index from the US ranking this year and changed the weight assigned to the remaining categories.The ranking combines feedback from students, alumni and corporate recruiters with employment and salary data.In the Europe and Middle East category, Switzerland’s IMD reclaimed the top position. Ivey Business School returned to the top of the Canadian ranking.
