Trump confirms the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi

Addressing a press conference, American President Donald Trump today confirmed the death of world's most dreaded terrorist-Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. An overnight raid led by U.S. military forces in Syria killed Baghdadi, said Trump.President Donald Trump congratulated the American personnel as they successfully killed the most wanted terrorist in the world. The United States had carried out an operation targeting ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, in which the terrorist killed himself, said Donald Trump. Baghdadi's demise reflects America's relentless drive to wipe out terrorism throughout the world, reiterated the American President.For days, US officials had feared that Islamic State would seek to capitalize on the upheaval in Syria. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the terror group- ISIS, is believed to have been in hiding for the last five years. In April, a video was published by the ISIS media wing al-Furqan that showed a man purporting to be Baghdadi.Under Iraqi-born Baghdadi's rule, Islamic State -- which at one point controlled swathes of Syria and Iraq -- is responsible for gruesome attacks against religious minorities and attacks on five continents in the name of a form of ultra-fanatical Islam.
